Daniel Dao

Daniel is the next generation of international brand marketer, powering memorable brand experiences through his creativity, energy and unique international perspective. His expertise forges strong and lasting connections between brands and their target audiences.

He is ignition’s Senior Vice President working with global brands to connect with employees, stakeholders and consumers. And he’s the international activation agency’s cultural chameleon.

Daniel has worked in more than 50 countries, crisscrossed the globe with the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy (2006, 2010) and the Olympic Flame (2002, 2004) and created grassroots activation toolkits that were used to support the 2007 Live Earth concert in 130 countries at 10,000 events to reach millions of people.

All by the time he was 30 years old.

Daniel started his marketing career on the road, managing a national tour for Coca-Cola while still in college. From there, the pace never let up. His first solo business trip was to scout locations in Beijing, New Delhi and Rio. Between Olympic Torch Relays and FIFA World Cup Trophy Tours, he lived in Los Angeles to manage sponsorship activations for Live Earth.

Today Daniel manages experiences for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines and Victoria’s Secret. He is also responsible for managing the operations of ignition’s New York City office.

Grateful that he put plans for law school on the back burner to travel and work on some of the industry’s most famous event activations, Daniel competes in ultimate Frisbee, flag football and kickball. He and his wife Brooke live in Atlanta.
