James Christian

Vice President / Creative Director

James is an experienced advertising and marketing professional who brings more than 20 years’ expertise and leadership to ignition. In his current role, he oversees the creative services arm of the agency, using his talents to build engaging and effective creative deliverables for ignition’s client activations and brand experiences.

James’ expertise includes traditional advertising and marketing (TV, broadcast, print, direct mail, web, and publishing) as well as environmental and experiential event design, packaging and POS for clients in a range of industries, including beverage, sports, online entertainment, healthcare, financial services, and clothing, tourism, and events.

Prior to ignition, he was an independent creative consultant, and previously has served in creative direction and design capacities with mktgpartners Inc., YellowCouch Inc., Workman Publishing Inc., and Milton Glaser Inc.

James’ creative expertise has elevated brands including Nike, Coca-Cola, Jamba Juice, the United States Marine Corps, and the State of Georgia. He has been recognized for his accomplishments with a number of industry awards, including the Effie Award, and the Printing Industy of Georgia’s Best of Category.

Committed to sustainability both professionally and personally, James is a member of designersaccord, an industry association for designers focused on sustainable design methods and materials. He also enjoys practicing organic locally sourced cooking in his spare time. James is an Atlanta native, and is married with a two year old daughter and six month old son.
