Coca-Cola Bottle Art Tour
The Shape of Inspiration
How does Coca-Cola celebrate a century of its iconic bottle? We were tasked with developing a travelling experience, showcasing artwork inspired by 100 years of the bottle in an immersive and participatory space. Our goal was to capture the romance and uplift of this pop culture phenomenon.
Sight, touch, scent, taste and sound – a sensory tunnel was the gateway into The Coca-Cola Bottle Art Tour, evoking a newfound appreciation for the iconic shape. The Perfect Serve Room presented attendees with the Coca-Cola bottle in an unexpected fashion and added romance to the uncapping ritual. As consumers moved through the art exhibit, containing renowned work from artists like Warhol, Rockwell and Sundblom, they were met with a variety of interactive experiences.
A deconstructed bottle challenged consumers to recognize the broken shape, before stepping up to a viewing area where the separate pieces aligned and the bottle appeared whole. After viewing an impressive amount of artwork, digital screens allowed consumers to try and create an original piece of bottle art. Finally, our ‘I’ve Kissed’ photo booth had attendees recreating black and white photographs of the Coca-Cola bottle and pop icons like Marilyn Monroe and Elvis, ensuring their memory of this experience would not soon be forgotten.
